​With Governor Abbott relaxing the stay-at-home order, we are going to have a soft opening for Old Fort Parker Patriots May shoot. We will have some stipulations in place to protect our shooters. The majority of our members are in the high risk category (65 and older); therefore, we will have a thermometer to check temperatures (cleaned between use).  We will not use counting sticks, and we will try to keep posses to 10 shooters. We will allow 2 shooters at a time at the loading table. You will unload your guns as usual with someone checking them from a safe distance away. Please do not handle anyone else’s guns. There are some things to consider before you decide to attend the shoot. If you are sick, have been around anyone who is sick or just don’t feel good, you should stay home and isolate. We ask you to refrain from hugs, handshakes and social distance as much as possible. Be sure to bring a mask or period correct bandana. The Timer Operator and Shooter will need to wear a mask or bandana when on stage.
